Itinerant Aircooled

This is a great service for those who want to learn how to take care of their VW.

The way it works is you schedule a day with Colin, he shows up at your place,
and he works you to death over a 12-hour day.
You can contact him via the IAC and/or SAMBA message boards.

At the end of the day, you'll know more than you're likely to ever learn from reading
a manual. You'll probably have at least a sore back, and your vehicle will probably
work better than it did before.

Colin is the real deal. As far as I can tell, he never runs out of steam even though
he doesn't seem to eat or take breaks and he dearly loves the olde Veedub.

He has a Zen-like attitude towards these vehicles and his vast knowledge, wit,
good conversation, charm, and energy makes for an enlightening experience.

He won't do the work for you. What he does is work, side by side, WITH you.
You'll get a lot done and know how to do it again by the end of the day.

My primary reason for hiring Colin was my loss of enthusiasm for turning wrenches.
I didn't expect to learn anything, but I did.
