On top of that, some devices (TVs for instance) do not deal well with voltages lower than 12V.
You may find that, despite your LB having NEARLY 12V of output, your TV won't come on.
About now, some of you are thinking "why not install an inverter and just run everything on AC?".
You can.
The problem is that your grandfather was right when he said "There's no such thing as a free lunch".
An inverter is a device like any other, it USES power. You don't make AC without losing DC in the process.
Ideally, try to use DC-powered appliances and accessories when possible.
That way you cut out the
"Middle Man" and save his share of your electrical budget.
